Following rumours that Biffy Clyro had been booked for Loopallu 2011, the organisers have now confirmed that it will actually be Ash that will take the headline slot on Saturday night.

Ash have had  18 top 40 singles to choose from including ‘Girl from Mars’,‘Shining Light’, ‘Burn Baby Burn’, ‘Oh Yeah’ and ‘Goldfinger’ over 18 years. The band were the first major act Beyond promoted in the Highlands ten years ago.

Tickets for Loopallu 2011 are completely sold out however, Ash will also be stopping off at The Ironworks in Inverness on Friday 16th September to play another special show.

Tickets for this show go on sale at 10am Saturday 3rdSeptember and will be available from www.ironworksvenue.com, 0871 789 4173 or in person from the venue.
