The ten track album features special guest appearance from Jake Bolt, Megan Blyth and Paul Elliott. The album has been mastered Pete Maher who has worked on tracks by U2, The Killers, Scissor Sisters, Maximo Park, Jack White, Depeche Mode and Katy Perry.

I know we kinda get over excited about The Whisky River Band, but truth be told they deserve every plaudit they garner although certainly “The Taming of Me” brings the band to another level.

Tickets are now on sale for transport to and from the event, leaving from the back of the train station for £3 return which will be leaving at 7 and returning at 11 (before curfew).

You can read our recent interview with the band here and a pile of photos from thier Halloween gig here.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me direct at chris@igi.gs
