The Church Street Hip Hop Night comes to Mad Hatters, Inverness on the First of December.

This will see the return of the night, with the first one being held back in March this year when Kobi Onyami and Crazy Cottage took to the stage.Damaged Goodz, who has supported 50 Cent, Sugarhill Gang and Xzibit, will also return to play host for the evening.

Also on the bill is Louie, who as part of Hector Bizerk has played T in the Park,Wickerman Festival and a sell out gig at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut. Described as “one of the most thought provoking MCs “,  indeed in a recent interview with the Scotsman, Louie identified Scottish hip hop as a legitimate mode of communication: “I think people are starting to come round to the idea that hip-hop from Scotland isn’t a gimmick, that it’s actually a full-on, expressive culture. There are stories to be told. There are poems to be heard.”

The Inverness Underground ,formed following the end of Spit Dis, will also be playing having  supported both Stanley Odd and The Mouse That Ate The Cat.Nity Gritz & Toni Smoke are also on the bill having released the album Writer’s Block in June of this year.

The night will also features DJ sets from Scottish hip hop pioneer Big Div & local favourite Butterscotch.
