The Revelers play Inverness as one of fifteen dates on their first Scotland and Ireland tour.

The Revelers bring together Swamp-Pop, Cajun, Country, Blues and Zydeco, “Simply put,” their bio boldly predicts ” The Revelers are poised to be the next Louisiana super group”.

“They’re paving a new path with their old school take on Cajun and Country music.” No Depression

The band brings together Red Stick Ramblers and The Pine Leaf Boy, with the five piece having impressive CV’s with individual members having played with Linda Ronstadt, Preston Frank, Walter Mouton and Mamadou Diabate.

There music has featured on HBO’s ‘Treme’, so there should be no surprise that the music supervisor for the show is a fan;

“Whipsmart songwriting, outrageous musical chops, and cutting-edge production have made this record a fixture on my stereo.  I cannot stop listening to it.

It’s not easy to create something brand-new and forward thinking which also lives smack-dab in the middle of history and acknowledges its roots.  But The Revelers have done all that and more.  I give this my highest possible recommendation.”

We have been told that it’s just about impossible to stay in your seat when they strike up, so expect a great night at the Eden Court. Tickets for The Revelers.
