To help festivals goers to get into the mood for the Groove Armada headlined dance festival, the event will host a launch party on Cruise Loch Ness’s flagship cruiser, “The Legend of Loch Ness!”

The exclusive party, for 60 people, will take place on the 27th June.  One of the festival founders, Dougie Brown explains;

“To show our thanks, we will select and notify winners from those who have bought their festival tickets on or before the 12th June. To be in with a chance of joining the party with two friends of your choice, all you have to do is to have bought your Groove ticket – either online  or a paper ticket.” (IGi.gs will also have tickets to give away for the launch party very soon indeed..)

Groove Festival have have also added two top DJs to the bill , joining the likes of Radio 1’s B.Traits, Subculture founders and residents Harri & Domenic,  of the event in August.

Introduced to many with 2010 dancefloor smash hit ‘Coma Cat’, Marco Niemerski aka TENSNAKE will be taking his tunes to the Dores festival. Earning the reputation as a “a producer’s producer” he has played for the biggest dancefloors, from Ibiza and Miami. On being asked about his leaning towards disco and seventies music he answered “… in general I like to stay open minded, I do not consider myself as a disco DJ or producer. You will hear all sorts of styles from disco to house to techno and back. Whatever fits the moment.”

Known for infectious, electronic melodies and seductive vocal lines , ELI & FUR were described in 2010 by The Standard as being the “capital’s cutest new DJ divas”. Debut track ‘You’re So High’ has been played two million times on YouTube since it’s release, the pair have also found them selves joining with Carl Cox to mix this season’s Space Ibiza compilation.

The main event will be held on the 22nd of August at Clune Farm, you can find more details of the festival at their website. Buy tickets NOW.
