Marti Pellow and Co. debut in Inverness, with 20th anniversary of successful album

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of “Picture This”, Clydebank’s finest will debut in Inverness in March as they close they bring the 17 date tour to an end.

Whilst drummer Tommy recalled his memories of the red carpet in Inverness for the film Loch Ness, frontman Marti Pellow has acknowledged a fondness for the area; “I’ve been in Inverness a few times lately and I’ve fallen in love with the place”, even joking that “Apparently tickets for our show are so scarce that even Nessie has been trying to get on the guest list!”.

Given the nature of the tour don’t expect any reluctance to play the hits, expect sing-a-longs to all the 80’s and 90’s pop tunes from ‘Julia Says’ to ‘Temptation’, who knows maybe even ‘Love is all Around’ will get played.

An whilst we have come to expect some fairly big shows at the leisure centre (check out the pictures of Texas when they played the venue in 2013), Director Claire Kidger promises a step up for the forthcoming show ;

“We’re working hard on the final preparations for what is Inverness Leisure Centre’s biggest ever production. We are striving to create a superb finale to what will be a memorable tour for the band.”

Wet Wet Wet will play Inverness Leisure Centre , with support from Markus Feehily of Westlife and Ben McKelvey, on the 14th of March, 2016. Tickets are available online from www.ticketline.co.uk or by calling: 0844 888 9991 or in person from Caffreys Menswear, Union Street, Inverness.
