Elgin based alternative rock band announce deal with the renowned Sheffield based company.

The Mark Conti fronted band have had a busy 2016 with the summer has seen them play of Belladrum and Jocktoberfest, featuring on the Scottish new music chart in October and the recording their new EP ,’Looking Glass’, at Chairworks Studio which was mixed and produced by David Watts. 2017 has seen the band release a video for ‘Sun’s In The Sky’, compete in the Soundwave music competition at Abc O2 Academy Glasgow on the 14th of January and launching their new EP.

Edgar Road have signed with Native Records who were founded by Kevin Donoghue (formerly of RCA Records) celebrated their 30th year in the business recently. Native Records said;

“We believe we can take them to the next level and we have already secured playlist’s for them on 32 radio stations across the USA. We expect to build on that in the coming months. We will be confirming several summer festival appearances in the next few weeks, to support the release of their forthcoming album.”

The band said on their Facebook page;

“We are so super duper chufty to be working with Kevin and the Team at Native Records. Twas a good day for the Edgars.. Now to celebrate with some Guinness :) Onwards and upwards and thanks to all our followers for your on going fabulous support.. we love you xx”
