Christopher Beattie – Writer
Christopher has been involved with music for a number of years. He makes music in his spare time when not working in Advertising & Marketing. He is a huge fan of anything Hip-Hop/Rap and can sometimes be found in the back room of his house producing beats and rapping to them. With an interest in all music, he became interested in working for Inverness Gigs after meeting with Chris Lemon through a friend and now he has come forward with his first article for us, an interview with chart topping rapper Devlin.
In the future, he will be bringing us exclusive interviews with huge acts from around the world, some who are coming to Rockness to play and other various venues in and around Inverness.
He isn’t afraid to go out and get what he wants and we look forward to working with him in the future both from a writing point of view and other up and coming projects.

Tom Bisset – Photographer/Writer/Publisher
I’m Thomas Bisset, I’m primarily a music photographer based near Inverness (UK), although I have also been spotted shooting sport, portraiture and wildlife. I’ve also been putting pen-to-paper for the sitecontributing concert reviews as well as my photographs.
I’ve been taking photographs since I got my first camera at the age of seventeen, having saved up my earnings from my weekend job in a large electronics retail chain, and would often aimlessly wander my home town taking pictures of pretty much anything.
Briefly becoming more focused on landscapes and wildlife (and not doing it particularly well), things all changed when I was invited to a local gig to take photographs for my friend’s band. I became hooked, and have since shot many big name bands, as well as plenty of very talented local bands and music festivals.
I also play bass (very badly), go mountain biking (occasionally) and play lots of videogames (like, nearly all the time).

Irn Bru, AC/DC and the Glasgow Apollo. That’s me. What does that tell you? That I’m an elderly classic rock lover with a rubbish diet.I’ve lived in the Highlands for last 20 years and am a music fan – anything with a chorus; everything from Taylor Swift and Girls Aloud to the aforementioned AC/DC and Biffy Clyro. I’ve played guitar and sung in bands most of my adult life, including everything from punk to ceilidh to rock. It’s all a joy. I’ve got to say I really like working for Inverness Gigs – I’ll be the one at the Ironworks drinking the Irn Bru!

Julia Morgan – Writer
Tea drinking, Vintage Caravan towing, Festival floozey, I have long been in engaged in the local music scene. The opportunity to write came when I was considering donating my brain to a good cause, having suspended such pursuits, dithering over other artistic endeavours and raising my three sons.
Despite being immersed in music I am not a musician, writing about what I love is the next best thing. When it comes to musical tastes I must admit that my iPod has something of a split personality. I’d like to say its not all fun and gigs but that wouldn’t be true as I run The Tea Posy a quirky Vintage Tearoom, creative community space and unique live music venue within The Greenhouse Dingwall.
