More acts announced for Belladrum 2015.

Belladrum this year just keeps getting better and better. The most recent addition to the line up is the fantastic Scots rock band Idlewild, who will be joined by indie rising stars The LaFontaines  and Prides. The latter two bands are both riding high with debut albums released recently.

Words cannot adequately express just how excited I am at this announcement.

The Indie theme continues with Edinburgh alternative rockers The Winter Tradition; Hidden Charms, who are the current Spotify streaming sensation with their single ‘Dreaming Of Another Girl’; and the hotly tipped Invernesian exiles Schnarff Schnarff fresh from topping the bill on the T Break  stage on Friday night of T in the Park.

The chaos and mayhem of The Cuban Brothers will join Leeds alternative dance band The Sunshine Underground on the Crabbie’s Hothouse Stage, which, with how this summer is going, will likely to be the only sunshine seen during the festival.

The Seedling stage (see the previously announced acts) is not forgotten in this most recent slew of new acts either, with Glasgow based singer-songwriter and 2015 SAY Award winner Kathryn Joseph playing. Kathryn caught our reviewer’s eye at XpoNorth where he proclaimed “I have to say that Kathryn Joseph took the performance aspect up a notch: she inhabits the stage with one of the most engaging persona’s I have met in some time.”

Also announced are Brit Punk Americana outfit Kill It Kid along with buzz Inverness Hip Hop act Spring break, who bill themselves as a vaguely outrageous, Psychedelic, 3 piece Folk Funk outfit who are fresh from T in the Park and Tent on the Pier at Ullapool.

Thursday night tickets and various upgrades are available.
