Gentlemen of Few to play Inverness in April.

Hailing from Folkestone  but with a Bluegrass and Country infused “nu-grass’ sound borne of the American Deep South. “So young yet so amazing”, boasted Radio 2’s Chris Evans, it is perhaps unsurprising that the band that formed whilst the four were still at school, had earned a nomination for the radio station’s Young Folk Award in 2014.

Gentlemen of Few released their second live Ep ‘The Way and The Return’ir?t=wwwinvernessg 21&l=as2&o=2&a=B015F8OLK6 - Folk Award Finalists for Inverness Date in 2015, they have been building up their live CV with festival appearances including Tiree Music Festival, Secret Garden Party  and Boomtown Fair.

Andrew Lockwood ,in his review of the band’s hometown gig, acknowledged the electricity of their live gigs ; “You may have been forgiven for thinking you were in swamp country but there was no need for any moonshine to enjoy the foot stompin’ jamboree that the band cooked up on stage.”

Gentlemen of Few play Mad Hatters on Saturday April 16th. Tickets are on sale online, now.
