Bogbain Farm

The venue for Brew at the Bog and and the Northern Roots Festival, Bogbain also hosts various music events throughout the year.

2013 saw the likes of Jo Mango, the State Broadcasters and Randolph’s Leap as part of  the Olive Grove Records Roadshow and Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher. In the past it has played host to Kassidy, Charlotte Church and The Whisky River Band album launch.

The Tooth & Claw

With it’s central position in town the pub has been building it’s roster of live music, following a recent relaunch. Following PRS funding the venue was revamped  and now boasts a wide range of bookings.

Hootananny (and Mad Hatters )

Hootananny recently celebrated it’s tenth year  and has three very different venue. The main floor (referred to as Hootananny) known most commonly to host Scottish and traditional music (although this occasionally changes), the first floor (Mad Hatters) tends to host new , emerging and/or local music and the second floor (The Bothy)  which is a much smaller room most commonly used for acoustic sets and comedy.

One of the biggest music venues in the Highlands, it has played host to an impressive array of acts from Kasabian to Biffy Clyro via Fatboy Slim. However the Ironworks has a great deal of flexibility that means it can host a variety of events and sizes of audiences.

Velocity Cafe

A small intimate venue that occasional plays host to acoustic sessions as well as Dougie Burns hosted evenings.
